Kendrick Wilson:
From Movement Leader to Political Prisoner

A Louisville, Kentucky native’s fight for justice from the same corrupt and compromised predator-protecting criminal justice system he holds in contempt.

BRETT HANKISON BELONGS IN JAIL, NOT KENDRICK WILSON

Dirty cops belong in jail. Not the whistleblowers who report them. #LockUpHankison #FreeKendrick

NUMBER OF DAYS KENDRICK HAS BEEN LOCKED UP IN JAIL WITH UNLAWFUL BAIL FOR CONTEMPT OF COURT

As of May 8, 2026, the number of consecutive days Kendrick Wilson had been in police custody without adequate legal representation or proper due process other than a brief time when he was temporarily released on unlawful bail out of the Bullitt County Circuit Court clerk’s office. He was in jail from Dec. 2, 2022 until Jan. 5, 2026 for charges he has not been convicted of, and went back into LMDC custody on March 27, where he remains today. His impossible bail amount functions as de facto pretrial detention or indefinite incarceration without conviction.

OVER 2,000

DAYS SINCE BREONNA TAYLOR HAS GONE WITHOUT JUSTICE.

It’s been since March 13, 2020 that Breonna has gone without justice. Brett Hankison, one of the LMPD officers responsible for her death, has been convicted but was released after serving just 3 months. The duplicity is palpable. A woman is dead and her killers and the city leaders who covered for those responsible walk free among us, while the whistleblower who tried to warn us remains a BLACK MAN, a victim of an injustice, hardly represented by court-appointed counsel, caught in a systemically biased system, waiting for his day in court so his charges can be dropped. For alleged crimes where NO ONE DIED! Kendrick has served more time than all of Breonna Taylor’s killers combined!

This is the most recent interview done with Kendrick this past March. It has since been deleted from his supporter’s page, but in the interest of justice, we have decided to share our backup copy in solidarity with those who risk everything to #KeepGoing.

Here’s evidence of Hankison harassing Wilson back in 2018, two years before Breonna Taylor was murdered during a botched raid involving this same “dirty cop.”

This is from the court files from 2018. I think the other officer is Troutman. More on him later.
